CHATEAU BRAMETOURTE WEDDING

It was a real pleasure to shoot Carla and Charlie’s Chateau Brametourte wedding.  The chateau are kind enough to recommend me and I was happy to be back. The day was very hot, mid thirties and a little humid.  But no rain!! I arrived to shoot Carla getting ready.

There is a show England called Escape to the Chateau, that is popular and today they were filming Escape to the Chateau DIY at Brametourte.  The film crew were nice and didn’t get in the way of the wedding at all. My style is very documentary and so it helps if anyone filming stays discreet.

Carla had chosen the most wonderful theme of sunflowers.  They are such a nice choice for a wedding in France.  She carried them in her bouquet and they were also on her tables.  Such a sunny, happy flower.  Charlie and Carla said their marriage vows in the courtyard at Chateau Brametourte surrounded by friends and family.  After their Chateau Brametourte wedding, they entered the garden under a shower of confetti.  Guests were treated to champagne and canapés.  We took 15 minutes to shoot a few family groups and 10 minutes to shoot some beautiful portraits in the woodland area of the chateau.

Dinner and dancing followed.  Here are some of my favourite images…

Congratulations Carla & Charlie.  If you are planning a Chateau Brametourte wedding, do get in touch with me, I’d love to hear about your plans.
