CHATEAU DE POUGET WEDDING

Chateau de Pouget is a truly stunning venue. It’s in Vérargues, not far from Montpellier.  It holds a large number of guests and Hannah and John had lots of guests, so perfect for their Chateau de Pouget Wedding.  Hannah is English and John is French, so there was a real mix of cultures. They are both Jewish, so had a Jewish ceremony in the grounds of the chateau.  The day started with me shooting Hannah’s preparations.

Their day was so much fun. A stunning drinks reception in the gardens with music, food and champagne.  I shot some simple but beautiful family groups and some images of John and Hannah alone. But as with all of my coverage, I mainly shot in a natural, documentary style. So the couple spent lots of time enjoying themselves with friends and family and they really make the best photographs.  Pictures that tell a story of the day are really important because it’s the story  which will bring back all those memories of what a fantastic wedding it was in the south of France.

Later on their was a large amount of singing and dancing.  Jewish dancing is fast and furious and you can to really get in close to the action to photograph it.  All the guests were up for having a brilliant time, this always helps!  I think it was also because the band were terrific.  They were called Vogue Live.

It was an honour to shoot their Chateau de Pouget Wedding.

Congratulations Hannah & John.  If you are having a Chateau de Pouget wedding, do get in touch with me and tell me about your plans.
