DOMAINE GAYDA WEDDING
It was really fun to shoot Katherine and James’s Domaine Gayda wedding. The wedding planner was my husband Grant! Despite both working in wedding in the south of France, we don’t work together all that much. So it was nice that everything ran like clockwork.
Katherine and James wanted photography that captured the spirit of their day and told a story but of course with a few groups and portraits. I shoot these quickly because spending time with your guests at your wedding in the south of France is so important. It also makes for great pictures.
The food was incredible, resident Chef Jean-Christophe Gille specialises in modern French cuisine and it certainly did not disappoint.
I started the day photographing Katherine and James getting ready. Shooting this part of the day is so important because it’s the start of the story. The couple had a friend conduct their outdoor ceremony and then everyone walked though the vineyard to the drinks reception. It was a very windy day but no one minded, everyone was in a brilliant mood and ready to celebrate.
Here are some of my favourite images from their Domaine Gayda wedding…
Congratulations Katherine & James. It was an honour to shoot your Domain Gayda wedding.
