My Approach
The best wedding photography is about being able to relive the real story of your wedding, over and over again. The day goes past in a flash, make sure you don’t spend half of it grinning at a photographer!
I TELL YOUR STORY
Your wedding is a one off never to be repeated event. It’s the most incredible day. Surrounded by all your friends and family in the south of France, you will have the time of your lives. So I don’t need to tell you to smile, you’ll be smiling already!
90% of the day I work in a documentary way. I take pictures that tell a story. Most people say they didn’t really notice I was there. I’m like a friend with a great eye for a picture that shoots all day, so you can have photographs that will take you back to your time in the south of France over and over again.
I SHOOT POSED PICTURES QUICKLY
I also shoot portraits and groups. But I approach these in a different way. I don’t want them to take over the afternoon. I shoot them quickly. I also want them to have a real editorial feel, like they jumped off the pages of a magazine.
I DON’T DO CHEESE
I understand that most clients aren’t used to posing for the camera, so when it comes to the pictures of the two of you I can give you as much help as you need. I can tell you where to put your hands and feet etc. But I don’t do cheese! I still want the images to look natural, just a polished version of it.
